Eco-Friendly Printing at Maxim: Our Green Credentials

Planet friendly printing is something we truly advocate here at Maxim Print. That’s why we’re a member of the Carbon Capture® Programme from the Woodland Trust.

In partnership with Premier Paper, we ensure that for every sheet of paper we print on, we pay a voluntary donation to the Carbon Capture scheme. This helps mitigate CO2 emissions by planting trees in certified Woodland sites across the UK. So far, the Carbon Capture Programme has raised over £1 million and planted 266,666 trees.

Environmentally friendly papers

In addition to the Carbon Capture Programme, we provide a vast array of eco-friendly papers, giving you more choice when it comes to your printing needs. 99% of our stock is FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified, which means we’re able to identify, purchase and use wood, paper and other forest products which have been made with materials from well-managed forests or recycled sources – all of which are verified as genuinely recycled.

From 100% recycled paper to new innovations such as seed paper, you can create bespoke print that is both environmentally friendly, sustainable and beautiful.

Seed Paper and Herb Paper

One of the biggest trends in the print and creative industry is seeded paper – and we couldn’t recommend it enough. This clever stock combines anything from wildflower seeds to herb seeds, which are embedded in the paper, allowing you to plant it in soil after use and watch it grow.

It’s not just the stock we use that’s eco-friendly. Our packaging which protects your print during shipping and delivery is also made from sustainable sources, such as biodegradable shredded paper from our friends at Kite Packaging, and recycled cushioning from Premier Paper.
